For sale is my long-serving Apollo hifi rack. Fully assembled as pictured it’s quite wide, consisting of two tall racks joined by a central shelf unit. This central shelf unit can be easily removed (along with matching spacers) to leave two matching racks. Vertical posts have a nice black ‘craquelure’ finish (as best I can describe it). Very very strong. Feet can be either padded units (fitted) or you can fit standard screw-in spikes. I currently have no idea where the spikes are, but will dig them out if needed. I also have a copy of the original Apollo brochure. Dates originally from 1989 I believe (I am not the first owner).
The wooden shelf units are mostly in very good condition, but two (including the central long shelf unit) have edge veneer peeling off. They are black ash/plain black. These could easily be replaced with something else, like for instance glass if you preferred.
The central frame element is slightly bent on one side, making it very hard to assemble the rack in its current shape. This is not immediately visible but will catch you out on re-assembling. My recommendation is to ditch the central element, as it was originally just used for a TV I believe. It’s up to you.

Buyer collects, or I can pack for shipping but this would be heavy to ship and I think somewhat expensive. I’d probably ship as three packages, one with all the shelf units, one with the central frame and shelf unit and one with all the metal posts and parts. I think it’s best to collect, or I can deliver locally. With the central frame removed, both side towers would go in a large car OK I think.
