AMPHION ARGON 3LS FLOORSTANDING SPEAKERSRRP 2520.00 Matt Black Amphion are a Finish company renowned for high quality studio monitors. Their range of hifi speakers have received glowing reviews from the press since launch.For the current models they have moved away from ported cabinets. Instead using passive drivers on the rear. This tightens up the bass and makes near wall placement less detrimental to the sound.The horn mounted tweeter gives a very open sound.I have found them to be very detailed and accurate in character, without sacrificing any of the simple enjoyment of the music.
This pair are not very old and look particularly smart in their modern matt black finish.One of them has a couple of minor marks on the back (1-2cm), out of sight. The worst of which is shown in the last photo. Working perfectly and a serious bargain for the sound quality on offer.
I no longer have the original boxes so have initially listed these as pick up only.
