Aiwa Seperates Hifi and speaker stands.
Excellent sounds from this setup. It’s more or less 30 years old and heavy, not like most “tower” systems on sale back then. Consists of:
TX-09 FM/AM Tuner
MX-D9 Amplifier
Ge-D9 Graphic Equaliser
DX-D9 CD Player
FX-W909 Twin Cassette deck with auto dubbing
SX-E9 Speakers
Remote control Handset
All ribbons connecting the seperates are in place.
Tall speaker stands with square concrete bases
Stand (made for a TV but supports this well).
There is a port to enable a turntable to be added-who knew vinyl would make a comeback when everyone (including me) ditched theirs?
FAULTS.
The “on” button on the remote is partially pushed in to the handset. Sometimes it works, but all the other buttons work perfectly.
The right hand cassette door does not stay shut. I applied a little sticky tape to it to keep it closed some years ago, and it all still works fine.
One speaker cone has the the main centre pushed in a little, but still sounds excellent. This was done by my mates son (then a toddler, now in his early 20’s). Lots of YouTube videos show how to restore these, which I will leave to the buyer to do.
The speakers are not wired up, as I removed them when moving the system from its last position. But it can all be tested so you can hear for yourself.

I must point out that this is COLLECTION ONLY as I do not want any of the issues associated with posting something as breakable as this. Please note that I live near Witham in Essex (25 minutes drive from Stansted Aiport). So check how far this is from you before bidding.
Only selling because I am moving abroad, and have a smaller unit to take over.
