The Accuphase E-450 is a high-fidelity power amplifier that was released in Japan in 2007. Like other Accuphase amps, the E-450 is remarkable for both its highly advanced circuit engineering and the high quality of the components used in its construction. The technical specs of the E-450 are impressive, featuring Accuphases original parallel push-pull configuration, which can deliver 180 watts of clean, quality power to each channel (at 8 ohms). The E-450 is the next in line after the highly-regarded E-408 amp. It features Accuphases newly developed AAVA-II technology (Accuphase Analog Vari-gain Amplifier), an advanced volume control which offers low distortion and high precision. By virtue of these engineering feats, as well as a host of others, the sound quality provided by the E-450 is nothing short of exceptional, with immediate transients and superb transparency and detail.
