AAD E48 Floor Standing Speakers, designed by Phil Jones, awesome sound. Condition is mint. Collection in person only.
These speakers have received many praises and they are now rare to find. They were designed by the famous Phil Jones who is well respected in the audiofile community and the performance of these speakers in my opinion is just sublime. There are a number of review online which I would suggest those who are interested to check.

Sound”What was impressive immediately…was the E48s ability to disappear in the room”; “a little forward-sounding, but “quick as demons” and possessing an “incredibly clear midrange”; bass could sound strained at moderately loud listening levels.
Features”Very slim towers” featuring a pair of 4 1/2″ midrange drivers, a 1″ silk-dome tweeter and an 8″ side-mounted woofer.
UseTim preferred the speakers configured with the woofers to the outside, but experimentation is warranted.
Value”Considering their price along with all the things they get rightthe E48s provide more performance and refinement than they have a right to.”
These reviews were made in comparasion to the Soliloquy 5.3 which cost $2000. These speakers have been partenered with my exposure RC25 amp and exposure Cd player, and Rega Planar 3, and the sound is just amazing. Only reluctantly selling due to downsizing.
