For sale is a SONY TA-FE370 integrated Hi-Fi amplifier. The amplifier is faulty- when the power on button is pressed, it powers up (led lights) but a fraction of a second later it goes back in to standby. I have had a look throiugh the grille on the top casing and cannot see anything wrong, but obviously something isn’t right. I have removed 3 of the small knobs (speaker,bass,treble) to use on something else, and there’s a small crack on the bottom of the fascia as per the pic. This is a shame as I have a working one of the same model and it sounds great. These amplifiers are rated at 60 watts/channel RMS so have plenty of power for most speakers. There are 6 inputs including a MM phono stage for a turntable, and 2 tape loops. There are bass/treble tone controls, loudness button and source direct (to bypass tone circuits). There are enough inputs to allow a more complex system to be set up. I will pack the amplifier most securely for postage, or it may be collected from Ormskirk.
