You are viewing an example of a 5 tier real American white oak matched veneered Hifi rack. The standard 5 tier rack dimensions are as follows:
580mm width (500mm internal space)450mm deep (20mm cable tidy rear shape)120mm Internal height of tiers 10mm glass on ball bearing/cups 450x350mm
As these beautiful one of a kind racks are made to order its possible to adjust the dimensions according to your Hifi equipment (please get in touch first to discuss any differing design ideas you might have for a price).
Each tier has 4 adjustable spikes installed ensuring that no vibrations are transferred from one tier to the next and a completely level surface can be created if a turntable is being used. The rear is open for great ventilation and the curved rear design makes cable dressing very easy and neat.
The five 10mm polished edge glass shelves sit on ball bearings that are retained by a stainless steel cup with a stainless steel peg at the rear to stop the glass being moved back by accident. This design closely resembles the Naim fraim, but without the associated price tag.
Naim users….Having used a nap300/252 on this very glass/ballbearing design previously I would suggest that the change to the sound is subtle but it seems to sharpens the Naim sound up slightly making everything a little bit clearer.
Other designs not included in this price but can be added are as follows:Different real wood veneered finishes, Smoked grey ir friendly flip up doors, increased internal heights to house taller equipment, extra tiers, double stacks that sit side by side, vinyl storage, double base layer, turntable plinths with built in spirit level, hidden caster feet…open to hearing your ideas if you are after something thats not listed.
Normal build time is 4 weeks and if you opt for the deliver service then the rack will be palletised once built and delivered on an overnight service at cost due to its size/weight. My preference is always for buyers to collect from Leeds but I appreciate this is not always possible.
