Yamaha KX-580 SE Special Edition Hi-Fi Cassette Tape Deck – Spares / Repair
Classic cassette deck in good superficial condition. There is a small scratch on the top, not really visible if mounted in a rack or stacked up.
Features Dolby B, C & S and highly regarded play trim feature to get the most from cassettes recorded on other machines.
Unfortunately, having served me well for years, this deck has become slightly unreliable – occasionally sounding garbled and as if it is about to chew up the tape… This doesn’t happen on all cassettes all the time, but is definitely an issue.
I haven’t made any attempt to fix this myself, as such the machine is listed as non-working for spares/repair.
