Hitachi HRD – MD03 Hi-Fi System – Spares &/Or Repairs, *Damaged*
*Please note that since it was last listed, it was being stored in an airing cupboard which contains a boiler whos condensate pump leaked causing water to being soaked up by the carpet which the HI-Fi was sitting on. This caused the bottom of it to get slightly wet which damaged it but some parts may still be salvagable but you are buying it at your own risk & no returns will be accepted. Please understand & accept before buying.*
This was purchased as part of a Hi-Fi system which my mum had from new nearly 30 years ago. She has probrably used it nearly everyday but unfortunately it decided to give up working a f9ew weeks ago. As stated, this is part of a Hi-Fi system which is being sold seperate as spares/repair along with the matching speakers & turntable & if all 3 parts are purchased together then I will of course combine postage.
My mum had a seperate CD player connected to it & it features an AM/FM Tuner with 10 statio preset, stereo amplifier with graphic equaliser & twin stereo cassette tape deck. The measurements are as follows: D 26.8 cm, H 29 cm & W 37.5 cm & as you can see, is still in an excellent condition considering it’s age. I’m not sure if this are compatible with any other make of Hi-Fi or audio/visual equipment but anyone with the knowhow maybe to make this happen. It’s being described as used for soares/repair because towards the last few weeks of it not working properly, you had to switch it on 10-20 minutes before using to get it working & even then it didn’t always stay on. It maybe a simple fault & I did remove the case to see if there was a broken wire anywhere but I couldn’t find anything but someone with more knowledge maybe able to get this working properly again.
