One of the best Aura amplifiers. Has audiophile grade Phono stage too! The sound is very warm, with smooth treble and a massive grunt in low end. The vocal are just stunning with this Mosfet amp. If you didn’t know already sound is very similar to tube. Honestly I would love to repeat myself but I have sold 2 of these before and to my ears they are the best sub 1K amps.
The power supply was massively upgraded. Top grade Schottky diodes in bridge rectifier with KMH series caps which are superb quality and rated at 105 degrees. Few other minor upgrades like cabling which did contribute to a smoother/detailed sound and the power resistors replaced with Vishay which do the job better. Bias adjusted so its runs a lot cooler too. I also re-soldered most of the circuit board as sometimes due to age can cause problems.
