Still fuming !!!
All of these products worked perfectly until Sonos software disabled the devices from my network in April 2020.
Devices:Sonos amp zp100, Sonos Play 5, Sonos Bridge X2, Sonos Connect ZP 90, Sonos iPod dock, Sonos controller.
Still fuming !!! back in January 2020, Sonos was the star of a juicy controversy. It announced that regular software updates would be ending for some of its older products, it introduced “Recycle Mode”.
Recycle Mode was part of Sonos’s Trade Up program. After 21 days from initiating Recycle Mode, the old device was software disabled and could no longer be used on the network.
As you might expect, a lot of people didn’t like this, so Sonos have changed there policy and no longer carry out this despicable wasteful act.
I am not in a position to replace all of these devices with the latest Sonos counterparts, I hope the buyer is able to get Sonos to re-establish the devices. If not all devices will be suitable for parts as they were fully working until Sonos disabled them.Therefore I must classify them all as for parts not working.
