Michell Transcriptor Hydraulic Reference Turntable + SME Arm & SME Cartridge – Repair Project
This deck has a few issues listed below and as such I am listing it as parts/not working. But the issues aren’t major and it would be a viable repair project.
– There is no mains power cable fitted
– Drive belt perished and has been removed
– A couple of cracks and slight damage to the perspex lid
We have wired up the motor just to confirm that it works but otherwise the turntable is completely untested. I have removed as much of the silicon grease as I can and packed the well with material for safe shipping.
The unit will be securely packaged for safe delivery but collection from our store in Bristol would be preferred
