Counterpoint Solid 8 Line Control Amplifier (Pre-Amplifier).
For sale is this extremely rare and much sought after solid state Pre-Amplifier from Counterpoint. This is the Solid 8 Model which as its name suggests is solid state only in its construction. As it states on the front of the product, it is ‘Hand Crafted in California’. This unit is in very nice condition and is complete with original box and manual. It has been fully tested and is in excellent working order. This unit has 8 inputs including 2 tape circuits. It does not have a phono stage but an external one can be plugged in via one of the line inputs.
Like many other Counterpoint products there is printed text on the inside of the case which can be seen in the photos. This was an unusual feature in Counterpoint products.
