DiaDrive woofer
Using a seamless construction, the bass drive unit provides a smooth and lucid sound, especially in the mid-range. The conical support and large contact area with the voice coil ensures a powerful and dynamic response. The bass drivers are also magnetically shielded, so there’s a greatly reduced risk interference with CRT TVs or damage to magnetic storage devices.
Viotex tweeter
Being both strong and light, the Viotex tweeter moves with agility. This gives it the ability to pick up on the most subtle and detailed sections of higher frequencies. To improve the balance between treble and mid-range, Mission uses an inverted driver layout, which offers time-alignment without the need for sound-constricting electrical components.
Robust build quality
Unlike most speaker cabinets, the M33i uses two U-shaped sections that are bonded together for a more rigid alternative to conventional designs. The U-coupled front and rear baffles greatly reduce cabinet vibration which turn, gives a more natural and less coloured sound.
Quality finish
In addition to its highly engineered cabinet and drivers, the Mission M33i also features many design details usually only found on more expensive designs. The woofer chassis, for example, is die-cast rather than pressed steel, giving it greater rigidity for a more precise sound. Bi-wirable speaker terminals are gold-plated for a low-resistance connection. Finally, high-grade oxygen-free copper cable is used internally, giving the M33i a more open and transparent sound.
