A pair of Philips 9434 DRC MKII speakers with Isophase ribbon Tweeters.

One of the Tweeters does not seem to work.

Some damage to the veneer on one of them and a scuff to the top of the other.

Stands not included.

Extra Info: Awesome 1980’s design. Super cool. The plane disc drivers were actually engineered to work like a piston to avoid cone breakup issues ( they were not just made this way to look cool there was engineering behind the design) The speakers use the Isophonic ribon tweeters which sound great. The speakers are balanced sounding and definitely a quality speaker with very large magnets on the drivers. The cabinets are thick and heavy. The speaker uses a passive radiator and gives a good sound which is somewhere between sealed / ported and at some frequencies sound like a transmission line – an interesting design. The bass extension is very good for a smallish speaker.
