Raphael Audio Orthophonic IV B Valve Preamplifier preamp with Valve Phono Stage.
This is a stunning valve preamp with a really good valve phono stage in it. The phono stage alone is worth buying this for.
It is a German made kit preamplifier that the builder had built a unique and beautiful casing around…
Rafael Audio preamp designs are highly regarded in Germany.
The blue plexiglass offsets the brushed metal top and sides, the valve cooling holes are artfully located. T the bass is thick frosted plexiglass.
There are imperfections that can be seen from the photos that show that this is a hand built casing. For for me this adds to the uniqueness. Any marks or scratches on it are very small, don’t detract from the beauty of this preamplifier and I’ve tried to show them on the pictures.
It has 3 inputs, 1 if which is a phono stage.
It has a main out, monitor out, and tape out.
