Top of the line Aiwa Excelia XK 009 cassette deck with full manual calibration.
The deck is modded with ANT4066A chip, replaced op-amps, some changed capacitors and some small changes to give better performance. Op-ams and ANT4066 are mounted with DIL sockets so the can be replaced with originals (which I will provide). You can contact me for details.
To my ears modded deck sounds substantially better than in factory configuration, which already was pretty good.
The deck has new good quality belts from fixyouraudio.com installed that provide very low wow and flutter measurements (below 0.04% WRMS).
It also features full manual calibration which combined with the mod makes is outstanding recorder and excellent player.
The deck has some small (almost invisible) traces of use (check the photos) and the biggest flaw is missing wooden sides. Previous owner removed them years ago to fit it into the rack and was not able to find them when passing the deck to me.
