Canon SC10 Wide Imaging Stereo Centre speaker
Here is my Canon SC10 Centre speaker. It was part of a home cinema setup using S50 fronts, SC10 Centre, SV15 Front Effects and V100 as Rears all available in separate listings.
Styled by industrial designer Allen Boothroyd [former partner at Meridian] they are straight out of a design catalogue. The Canons use drive-units firing onto a curved conical acoustic diffusor/reflector. This gives much wider dispersion than normal and is ideally suited to Home Cinema. Rather than having a sweet-spot of conventional stereo they produce an omnidirectional sound that wraps around you Canon called it Wide Imaging Stereo but I call it amazing.
These are hard to come by in such great condition they sound fantastic and look even better highly collectible.
