Sonos Connect: Amp ZP100 (ZP120) White Good Condition . Condition is Used. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
I am not listing this hoping to sell it, but to alert potential buyers to the fact that after May 2020, Sonos will be withdrawing all support for several products deemed “legacy”, including the Connect:amp.
The effect of the withdrawal of this support is that these products will no longer integrate with newer Sonos products. Google “Sonos Legacy” and all will be made clear.
These products are:
ZP80, ZP90, ZP100, ZP120, Connect (Manufactured 2011-2015), Connect: Amp (Manufactured 2011-2015), Play:5 (Gen 1), Bridge and CR200.
Sellers offering these products are not advertising the fact that they will not be fit for purpose after May, 2020.
Sonos is offering a 30% discount on upgrades to newer products if the legacy ones are traded in. The list price of a new Sonos amp is 590, so discount would be 177. To obtain this discount, the old unit must be recycled.
I have deliberately set the reserve over 177 with a high postage charge to discourage potential purchasers from buying and to alert them to the pitfalls of buying similar products offered on eBay without such warnings. I am doing this simply to prevent unwary buyers ending up spending money on an expensive doorstop.
