Here we have a pair of classic MISSION 753 Audiophile HiFi Floor Standing speakers. Collection only.
If youre looking at this advert youll probably already know these speakers are considered (within audiophile circles) to be among the best loudspeakers ever made..ever! thats irrespective of price. These are the highly regarded mission 753 (metal domed tweeter) version not the later freedom (fabric domed tweeter) version.
Ive wanted to hear / own a pair of these for many years and was keen to replace my mordant short speakers with them..WOW.. so these speakers knock everything else Ive listened to (below 5k) into a cocked hat.. genuine 3D soundstaging, incredible realism, stunning vocals, better than Id hoped for and pull out an incredible amount of detail from your recordings, youll find yourself relistening to all your favourite tracks to hear all the new detail and realism. Slight dinks in both tweeters that dont affect sound quality at all. In overall good condition, signs of wear and surface scratches as per the photos, ideally need feet spikes (not included).I do not have the fabric grilles (lost).. all woofers have been refurbed with brand new domes. Please study all photos as these speakers are far from mint upon up close inspection (who does that!?!) but, most importantly, sound amazing.

So, why am I selling them?.. They are serious, big black, blokish units that sound and look the absolute business (see last photo).. however my old mordunt short speakers are white wood with pretty gold woofers and other sparkly bits on them… and I am married.Help me save my marriage, buy these black beauties from me so we can return to my lesser sounding girly speakers (ggrrrr) and marital bliss, guarantee youll enjoy, these are the best speakers I ever owned, briefly.. :0(
