BANG OLUFSEN BEOGRAM 9000 + NEW BELT FITTED with FAULTY MMC4 STYLUSTHIS LOVELY LOOKING DECK WORKS GREAT MECHANICALLY BUT THE STYLUS IS DEFECTIVE/WORN OUT….the music sounds horrible and it jumps when playing record. (they can be repaired or just buy a good used one.) Even broken ones sell for 30-50 !!I Tested it with my personal stylus and know aprt from stylus issue everything else goodIT PLAYS SMOOTHLY AND AT RIGHT SPEEDS. THE ARM DROPS DOWN AND PICKS UP IN THE RIGHT PLACESA NEW BELT HAS ALSO JUST BEEN FITTED AND SHOULD BE GOOD FOR 10 YEARS PLUS (OLD BELTS STRETCH AND GIVE VARIABLE SPEED AFFECTING THE PITCH). IT IS NICE & CLEAN THROUGHOUT BUT DOES HAVE A FEW BLEMISHES AS FOLLOWS1. Noticeable scratch on perspex lid (pls see 2nd pic where is clearly visible) 2. A couple of light scratches to the mirror trim on lid (last pic) . 3. There is slight discoloration to the white trim in places Note… swapping the lid is easy if it bothered you… just 4 screws. Looking at others actually i think this lid would have started life on a beogram 9500 … which is same deck as Beogram 9000 . The 9000 usually has standard square lid but this lid is wedged shaped with tinted mirror finish… I WILL VERY VERY CAREFULLY PACK USING LOTS OF BUBBLE WRAP IN STRONG BOX AND DEPLOY THE TRANSIT SCREWS. I HAVE DONE IT BEFORE AND KNOW HOW TO PACK THESE. DELIVERY PRICE QUOTED IS FOR MAINLAND ENGLAND WALES AND SCOTLAND ONLY USING A FAST TRACKABLE CARRIER .FOR ALL OTHER AREAS PLEASE ASK BEFORE BUYING.
