Pair of rare US-made 1980s ADS L570 high-end, 2-way speakers in great used condition.
Black cabinets with some very minor age-related marks, very solid construction. Both grill badges present and inside badges on the front panel. Unfortunately one grill is missing the small tab at the bottom for easy removal but it comes off no problem (and stays in place when on).
Manufactured in the USA by Analog & Digital Systems, Wilmington Massachusetts with fantastic build-quality.
ADS used imported West German Braun drivers of early 70’s design and their famous 1.5″ sticky-dome tweeter and 8″ rubber-surround woofer. Sealed cabinet, acoustic suspension design.
Detailed and rich with tight bass. Mellow & smooth character and room-filling sound.
