DC SERVO Automatic Turn Table Record Deck.

This auction is for a wonderful vintage turntable record deck. Made by Technics of Japan & known as model number SL-J11. This turntable has a very unusual linear tracking tonearm system branded as a ‘DC SERVO Automatic Turntable System’. This unit comes direct from a recent estate clearance & is sold in as found good vintage used condition. It powers up with red LED light, tone arm seems to cue up & down but turn table doesn’t spin. I could see a broken drive belt under the platter so have now removed all the broken bits. The motor spindle seems to be running so with a good service & a little know how I’m sure the unique deck could be up & running again. A very unusual piece of HiFi history I think is worth saving. Overall in good cosmic vintage condition with some surface scuffs to top perspex lid & comes with mains power lead.
