Teac VRDS 7 CD Player . Condition is For parts or not working.
I WILL NOT POST THIS CD PLAYER IN UK OR INTERNATIONALLY. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Comes with instruction book and remote. Cosmetically a dent on the remote as highlighted with photo. CD player is in good condition with just a few marks on the top edge where paint has come off slightly in areas. Again see photos.
I have recently had the tray idler gear replaced as it developed that infamous fault of the tray not opening from the teeth on the gear disintegrating over time. I used the part listed on eBay which is the original not the cheap 3D printer copies.
The tray now opens and closes and plays CDs fine, but when I received it back from repair, the tray needing pulling out slightly to line up the mechanism so something is not quite right. I pulled the tray out with my fingers to help it on its way the first time. The tray is now lined up perfect and it opens and closes with no issues. So there is a slight underlying problem but as its not perfect Im not going to mislead a potential buyer. So for that reason its listed as spares or repair but as Im selling it collection only you will see its now working fine and wont need adjustment, just concerned sending it through the post for this reason, hence collection only. Im sure someone with some time and expertise on their hands would be able to rectify the problem.
Youre welcome to see it working as you pick it up. This is a sale for buying though not for looking. Check my 100% positive feedback for reassurance.
Im in Burnley, Lancashire but travel up to Penrith in Cumbria a few times a week so have a couple of collection points if that helps.
