You are viewing for sale my Pioneer VSX-1131 amp / receiver. This device is approx 2 years old and has recently stopped working properly.
When I power it on I get the error message shown in the pictures – “NG: SR”. Apparently this suggests an issue with the rear surround output (NG = not good). I’ve spoke to one or two repair companies and the cost estimate for repair is anywhere from 25 – 85. However that is all they can say over the phone without looking at the device properly. Unfortunately for me, the nearest repair centre is over 100 miles away and paying for postage and assessment just doesn’t seem economical therefore I’m selling the unit. hopefully to someone who can fix it themselves or has access to a local Pioneer repair centre.
Prior to this issue the amp was a fantastic unit. It will ship in its original box with all of the manuals & cables shown in the pictures. I am also happy for local pickup to save costs.
