Receiver B&K AVR507Outstanding performance is delivered via the MOSFET output stage, Class A pre-driver input stage, and DSP driven by a Motorola 371 processor with 24- bit/96kHz A/D and 24-bit/192kHz D/A converters. With seven channels at 150w RMS into 8 ohms, 185w into 4 ohms, combined with 7 audio inputs, 6 coax, 5 optical digital inputs, 7 composite and S-Video inputs, and 3 component inputs, the 507 provides true Class A/B performance without the tubes. Bass-management capability is a cut above the norm, allowing the user to choose from a wide range of crossover frequencies and high- and low-pass slope settings. The ULTRA setting provides an LF feed to the subwoofer, while enabling the rest of the system to run full-range. A set of analog stereo inputs is available for audiophiles, together with 5.1 analog pass-through channels that are active for DVD-Audio/SACD playback.
