This is a reluctant sale.
I have owned this classy turntable for 20 years.I love it.Rare – you don’t see Planar 2s with the wooden plinth up for sale very often, and never with an RB250 tonearm.It has been very well cared for and sounds just terrific.
Only last week I had a brand new Rega 24v Motor kit fitted to improve the performance even further, but….
… I also bought a Linn turntable… so sadly I am told that I cant have two turntables in the house. Fair enough.
New white belt. Bearing serviced.
New Rega Elys 2 Cartridge fitted approx 12 months ago – say 100 hours use or less?
Cartridge was $250 new and 24v Kit was $300.
Now nothing to spend. Vintage look but wth brand new audiophile performance.
Like I said – reluctant sale.
Usual scratches on top – lid in good condition other than that. See photos.
