For sale is a TPA3118 mono amplifier board with mute function.
These boards have a fairly high quality output and are great for turning passive speakers into active speakers (with the addition of heatsinking for higher quality output)
In the attached photo these amplifiers are used to individually (1 per box, so 2 total for a stereo setup) drive 2 very large speaker boxes (disregard the 2 small speakers and the sub), consisting of a tweeter, center and a huge 10″ bass speaker, all effortlessly and with no distortion even at party level volumes. The amplifiers dont become concernably hot (with tiny adhesive square heatsinks) until impractically high volumes are used. For small portable applications this range is perfect.
