Marantz CD6000 CD Player. Condition is Used.
Modified Marantz Cd 6000 KI Signature . Condition is Used.
This is a highly modified cd player.
All the mods were advised by Brent @ Fidelity Audio.
This was all modified approximately 2 years ago.
Superb sound after the mods.
Glass lid fitted.
Blue lcd screen. No other marantz cd 6000 player has this blue screen
WBT nextgen rca plugs wired directly to the board bypassing components for a better sound. wired with amtrans gold twist wire.
New high grade capacitors. Mundorf Myltic AG Audio Grade Power Capacitors. Elna Silmic II Electrolytic Capacitors. Oscon Sepc Capacitors. From Hi Fi collective.
New power regulators. 2 x 11 volt power regulators for the power rail dropped from 12 volt to 11 volt thats why there is 2 heat sinks on them as they get warm due to the voltage drop. 2 x 5 volt power regulators for the left and right analogue. 1 x 5 volt power regulators for the digital. 1 x 5 volt power regulator the dac.
new laser fitted approx 1 year ago.
remote control rca plug removed from the board.
rca stock plugs removed from the board and replaced with WBT Nextgen chassis mounted rca plugs.
muting transistors removed.
extra damping on the inside bottom of the player covered in copper tape this makes the player even more heavier than standard.
copper blanking plates on the back panel.
the lid is spray painted black satin and does have a couple of marks but very hard to see.
case screws removed and replaced for black m4 allen bolts.
IEC chassis mounted power plug.
Original remote and manual included.
No power cable supplied. any kettle lead will fit.
All in superb condition cosmetically and fully working condition.
I have owned this player from new.
Relisted due to eBay not putting a reserve price on the ad.
