This listing is for a Tannoy SFX POWERED SUBWOOFER.
This subwoofer IS NOT WORKING AND IS FOR REPAIR OR PARTS ONLY
I bought the sub as part of a whole Tannoy SFX 5.1 set off ebay not too long ago.
The subwoofer worked very briefly then started producing intermittent loud thumping sounds, before dying soon after.
The unit switches on but does not produce any sound when connected to the receiver.
From searching Google and You Tube it seems that if you know what you are doing then this is potentially a fairly straight forward fix, but obviously I can’t guarantee that.
Cosmetically it is in good condition, with only a few visible marks on the top. One of the feet is damaged however.
