This is part of Sony midi range and has the Sony AU bus that connects with main unit.
I used it to transfer to MD from my old cassette collection.
Has sone surface scratches but does not affect the unit for recording and playback. This unit is made from metal construction and very sturdy. Has rubber feet so it will not scratch your HiFi unit when placed on top.
