Technics SU-1VX stereo integrated amplifier in the more desirable silver finish. Made in Japan. A lovely clean example in full and proper working order. All switches and controls work as they should without noise. The front led illuminates. This has a built in moving magnet phono stage for playing records. The phono stage is of very good quality and will work with record players and cartridges of very high quality. There are six inputs in total and it has two tape inputs. Cosmetically this example is very fine with no scratches or abrasions with only a slight yellowing to the case on the left hand side. This is common with this model as the power supply is on that side and it runs hot so some loss of colour is normal. It sounds very good with the typical Technics sound of this era. It gives a rich and warm sound with a generous sound stage which is superior to the later models which used more chips in the circuit board. About 35 to 40 watts per channel when new. A great small amplifier, much better than modern entry level amplifiers at many times this price. great value.
