ONKYO TX-NR609 7.2 Channel 160 Watt Receiver – Black. This is a lovely sounding receiver. At least it was until a week ago when it started needing to be switched off and on again at start up to get the sound working. Turns out that this model suffers from the infamous HDMI board problem. Once repaired it should last forever and won’t occur again. However as all of our sources were connected through it we decided being without it while it was repaired would take too long so we upgraded to a newer unit. This has been well looked after and is otherwise in excellent condition. It has some great features including the facility for a second zone or room where it can play a CD or the radio while you watch a film in the living room. As it’s quite heavy I’d prefer collection in person from Putney SW15, but will post via courier with insurance if required.
