Yamaha R-9 Natural Sound Stereo Receiver Class A, phono, w/remote.
For sale is the Yamaha R-9 receiver. It has a thumping 125 watts/channel capability.
Top of the line in 1985, it also featured 30 watts of switchable Class A.
It comes with remote control and genuine service manual.
I’ve just bought this as a ‘spare’ amp, so I’m not in a massive hurry to sell – but…if it does find its way to a good home, then…. 🙂
Another feature of this beast, it has a switchable universal voltage/transformer – so it will suit all countries via the turn of a switch at the back of the amp.
Electronically and cosmetically 10 out of 10. Perfect.
You won’t find better. Considered to be an audiophile amp, in the vein of the CA series Yamaha produced in the 70s.
POSTAGE –
Go to Australia Post website, or Interparcel – and lock in 15kg package, measuring 60 x 60 x 50cm approx. That should give you a rough idea on postage. I will post at cost.
