Laser,Tray and Mecanism
This is a very useful full and working laser unit, with tray, and simply drops into many Technics CD players, and then is attached with four screws, and the three cable clips. It is, as far as I know, working and reads discs and plays, but it does need to be fitted by a competent person, who knows what they are doing, as electronics and lasers are not to be messed around with.
It comes from a SL-P250, but all you have to do is go onto Hi Fi Engine, and down-load the relevant service manual, and check in ‘Replacement Parts’ for the code, which is SOAD70A, and this is the laser itself. The drawer mechanism will be something else, but if you are unsure we can check this. It is a perfect swap for an ultra high-end Technics SL-P999 and here is a useful and informative YouTube video on all the matches and also just how to swap the lasers:

It is compatible with many, including:
P121, 150, 170, 200, 212, 222, 230, 250, 333, 370, 555, 700, 777, PS30, 50, 71, PA10, PD627.
These are all with the drawer mechanism to the left. I know that, despite the laser itself, being correct for PS840, 860, 50, 900, 2000, 1000, the drawer is different, as these all had the up-market drawer, so the laser will be correct, but not the drawer, and that needs more specialist removal.
Anyway, if interested, ask… we can check.
It is cosmetically all fine, was working fine, and so should all be good, but since this is you fitting it, it has to be spares or repair, and no returns as I can’t guarantee workmanship of others or accidental damage etc.
