R4 Stereo received from a clearance. Has a fault mainly evident on the AUX function but can be heard mildly on CD & radio. Very difficult to fully describe but on the left hand channel there is distortion, like I say ever present on the AUX function & intermittent on CD. It basically sounds like FM hiss coming out of the speaker with the audio. Not sure where the fault lies. Couple of marks to casing. Included with remote & power lead. Inspection is advisable.
