This is a five-star rated turntable by most (if not all) notable Hifi reviewers. Beautiful and excellent functioning kit. Sings so well. Selling due to relocation, so selling my things. This is the last piece in my Hifi package to go for obvious reasons. About 7 years old, still looks mint – it’s been cared for and handled like it deserved.
New this kit was over 3,500. Even the current version is close to the 4k mark. The value holds if well maintained. This is a bargain! Cartridge was replaced with new Maestro (costed 750) 2 years ago, and then boxed since because of home move. Precision system, so hesitant to post by courier. Will deliver up to 50 miles from OX14 postcode for free. Any distance more within England transportation can be negotiated.

Features included in this turntable:- A 40mm-thick, silently revolving acrylic platter. The characteristics of acrylic are close to vinyl, so resonances inside the record find an easy path into the platter, where they are damped away.- A separate AC synchronous motor unit in a solid housing with three silicone feet, which drives the platter through a stepped pulley and circular cross-sectioned belt. Separation of the motor from the main turntable is designed to further reduce vibrational energy.- Integrated patented Clearaudio ceramic magnetic bearing (CMB). While most turntable bearings use a metal spindle spinning in a housing with a ball-bearing separating the two, Clearaudio’s bearing is aligned with a non-magnetic ceramic spindle and effectively floated on air by a magnetic field. This reduces friction, wear and noise by avoiding any point of load.
