Rare opportunity to buy one of, if not the finest speaker system in the world!Simply plug in your source and you are good to go.Contains (separate for each channel) Re-Clockers, DACs, DSP, Volume control, Amplifiers, Speakers.
At the time of their release, around 5 years a go. They cost $40k / 25k Euro.They were measured and proven to output the flattest (truest) response of any speaker ever!Genuinely full range, flat down to 20Hz.

This pair are the LS1s, rather than the standard LS1. As they have the additional Grimm sub units, that cost $10k / 7k Euro.
They are primarily marketed as a professional monitoring system. This pair have only ever been used for light domestic use. So are in very good condition.10/10 Functionally – Working perfectly9/10 Cosmetically – One or two very minor marks. Only visible on extremely close and careful inspection. Almost perfect, but I am being fussy here on behalf of the buyer. Invisible from more than a few inches away.
These easily saw of all of my previous high end, and far more expensive, hi fi systems.They really expose a lot of the nonsense in hi fi, by simply reproducing music far more realistically.
Should you find the flat response too honest. Then there are extensive tweaking and EQ options in the easy to use software.Everything can be controlled. From the angle of toe in, to the excursion of the drivers etc. Very clever and intuitive to use.
Finally, their construction is beautifully functional. The metal supports and Corian cabinet being held together by ultra strong magnets. It is clear that every little detail was considered in their creation by some very clever people with proven credentials in the hi fi business (Again please see the glowing reviews for details and background).I for one far prefer their appearance over the usual wood veneer covered boxes. Even my wife will be sorry to see them a go, and that is high praise indeed!
Overall I would sum it up as this:If you enjoy swapping out amps, cables etc. In search of ‘your sound’, then look elsewhere.If you simply want to get on with hearing your favourite music EXACTLY as the artist intended, all in a very neat package. Then you really should make the time to listen to these.
My system was as straightforward as: Mac mini straight into speakers by USB. Thats it!
