With the plinth weighted down anda good cartridge doing duty, it stands very well against the best. We used thisturntable alongside a SL1210 and a Mitchell Focus and promise,you would be hard pressed to tell the difference! Bar minor marks from normal usage, Condition is Brilliant. The plinth, platterand shiny bits are all in exceptionally good condition. The lid is clear and sparkly. Sound is brilliant. Upgrading the cartridge provides startling improvements – Denon DL 110, AudioTechnica AT 10/11, or try Grado Blue/Black. In some applications a heavy mat is good but consider changing the platter mat for a light composite type – can give excellent results.
