Part of my late father’s collection of hifi this Quad 34 pre-amplifier is in excellent physical condition for its age and plays well. This Quad 34 was paired with a matching Quad FM4 tuner which is being sold separately.
As can be seen from the above photographs the main body and front panel are in excellent condition with a couple of light scratches on the top. The volume knob has a couple of marks on it, the filter control knobs are in perfect condition.
All the power supply capacitors have been recently replaced, as has all the output muting control circuitry components in the power supply enclosure.
All the selectable sensitivity inputs have the 300mV CD level tags installed. The phono stage is of the moving magnet variety 3mV/47k/220pF.
The Quad 34 measures or exceeds the printed specifications on all inputs and outputs.
The Quad 34 comes with the original user manual, a mains IEC lead, 2 x RCA(female line) to 5pin DIN input converter leads, 1 x 4pin DIN to 2 x RCA(male line) pre-amplifier main to power amplifier output lead.
Whilst I don’t have the original box, the Quad 34 will be packed to my usual high standards.
