Technics SL-150turntable fitted with a Michell badged Rega RB-300 arm and Ortofon 2MRed cartridge. The turntable has its original SME metal armboard andhas an SME to Rega adaptor by Sound Supports complete with VTAadjuster ring and speed nut. Turntable keeps stable speeds and hasminimal marks the most notable by the speed prism. The lid has the usual age swirls and minor marks,overall it is really quite good. It sounds fine via a Trichord Dinohead amp via decent amplification into Tannoys or others that I may have at the time. This is a classic turntable/arm combination capable of very decent vinyl playback, the cartridge can obviously be upgraded. It has been used to playback Blues and early Jazz. The cartridge has had seriously low use….I also have the SME 3009 S2 that originally came with the turntable which has the silicon damper unit fitted as well but that is a separate option and not included.contact me if interestedI have a largecollection of vintage gear to sell which this is part of, see lastpicture which I must state for Ebay reasons…. nothing whatsoever other than the TechnicsSL-150 is for sale in this listing, the last picture is for assurence purposes only.
