Ultra rare Pioneer Progression Series vintage hifi that youll probably never see again in this condition. Remember this is from 1984, but is miles ahead of its time and everything works, including the jewel of the system the slide out turntable. Open the cover, press start and the deck slides out pop the record on, the deck knows the size by a small selector switch on the platter, and off it goes. I spent hours listening to this and it honestly sounds ridiculously good. Madonna and Alison Moyet plus some Sade were all dusted off. Punchy and great timing from one of the most ingenious and compact record decks ever made. The amplifier packs a huge punch and is fully intelligent regarding input selection I.e if the radio is on and you press play oh the tape deck it changes input. Similarly itll stop the deck if you change back to tuner. Ive also tested the cassette deck playing AND recording and was amazed at the results. Steve Wright using Dolby C on a cheap TDK sounded wonderful. Each component is in its original box, and each box has the original internal poly inserts and these boxes look like they were bought last year theyre that good. Naturally the original and correct cables enabling full remote control are included as is the remote itself which Ive seen for sale at 70 on its own. Seriously youll never find another set this good. Im even including an off board usb powered DAC so that you can connect the AUX input to anything with an optical or coaxial digital output! Top this all off with expert packing, fully insured and tracked carriage to your door for the price shown. Its not cheap but find another. The only annoying small mark I found was on the left of the cassette door thats it. Ive got video of the whole thing working to save arguments later and all items serial numbers are logged and photographed along with a fully documented packing process. The ultimate in retro cool, no one else Ill have one I guarantee it.
