I can only describe this CD player as an under the radar gem!
Rare to find in the UK, this Pioneer boasts multi-disc playback meaning 6 CDs can be played back to back without lifting a finger. Whether it be for a BBQ or social gathering, cafe, work or home setting, this would be perfect for environments where one might not want to be distracted by switching CDs every forty minutes.
Now I just love the feel of this thing. Cosmetically this example is very clean with only the most minute signs of use. The internal mechanisms and external buttons all feel ‘tight’ and hardly used. The sound of this thing clicking into place is a pleasure in itself!
In terms of the PD-M500’s playback, this machine really sings. Pioneer’s CD players are highly regarded among audio enthusiasts, and for an entry level system this ought to tick all the boxes. It sounds excellent.
As with all my audio sales, this has been serviced and cleaned prior to listing.
This will also be supplied with its original remote control and batteries.
This is a collection only listing. I am based in Crofton Park, London SE4. My home is conveniently close to the station, literally a minute’s walk away from the platforms! The Thameslink route is easily accessible from a number of Central London stations. Overground users can walk from Honor Oak Park. I’d be more than happy to meet you at either station if need be. There is also ample parking space here for car drivers.
