Built in the heyday of Japanese hi-fi – superbly designed, almost bomb-proof, elegantly styled and a real pleasure to use..
Features Dolby B and Fine Bias Control
The cosmetic condition is very good with some fading of casework – definitely looks vintage!
You should really judge the condition for yourself using the hi-res images provided as this can be subjective
It has been recently refurbished, with the 3 belts replaced and
Capstan removed, cleased re-lubedHeads and capstan have been demagnetized and cleaned
Pinch roller has been refurbished with Rubber RenueSpeed has been re-calibratedSwitch gear cleaned – bias control still a little stiff
Azimuth adjustedFunction test, play and record, FF, RW: all good. Sounds great – very stable.After the photos were taken I re-glued the peeling stickers on the facia and cassette door
Please note – the cassette door damping is not working which causes the EJECT to spring open like a far cheaper deck! I was not able to fix this so be aware that their is no soft eject on this deck
Comes as pictured – let me know if you need some RCA audio cables thrown in and I’ll try and oblige
I’ve posted a lot of hifi (inc. turntables) so rest assured it will be well packed
