Having a bit of a clear out so here I have a faulty Denon UCD-100 that I got a while back as part of a lot. The problem with it is that the front door has broken off. It actually looks worse than it is. The electrical display part still works fine, it’s just the plastic door that’s broken and the previous owner has stuck mini magnets on the keep it in place. It plays CDs fine. I thought I may find another one with a faulty CD mechanism that I could nick the front panel off but I’ve had it for 2 years so it’s time to get rid. Note that you’ll have to open the unit and re-connect the display which is pretty simple as it’s just a push on connector and that the door in not connected and is broken. There are a few loose screws and I’m not exactly sure where they’re from so you’ll have to work it out. Also note that this will need the matching amp and ribbon connector if you want to use it as it doesn’t have standard inputs or outputs and that the power plug is a euro one which I think plugs into the amp but I’m not certain.
