Our old Aiwa Hifi system up for sale. Not a modern unit but much better looking than the modern offering, will not play MP3 files or the like, no USB ports ect but still looks good and is in nice clean condition and comes from a non smoking home. Does have slight/small marks here and there as you’d expect with it’s age but nothing glaringly obvious, please see pictures.
Model NXS AV70 dating back to the mid 1990’s I think. Has a three disc auto changer for audio cd’s, dual cassette tape decks with auto reverse, AM/FM Stereo Radio (no RDS), two good quality speakers with 3 units each and twin front ports, along with the original working remote control.
I have just serviced the whole whole unit as the cassette decks wouldn’t run (needed new belts) and the cd wouldn’t play due to a dirty laser lens, all of which are now sorted and cleaned and run like new.
The original user manual has been lost but found an online version which has been printed off for the buyer.
Speakers are 40W each and still sound great playing even playing an old cassette tape!
Amplifier has settings for Disco, Live and Hall, along with Rock, Pop and Jaz which can be selected mix and match to suit. Also has the Dolby Prologic system and bass boost function (T-Bass). Will accept input from any other A/V source such as a TV via phono type inputs. The unit also has the Karaoke function with twin mic inputs if you like the SingAlong thing. The system will also run surround sound speakers and a powered subwoofer of the appropriate impedances. AIwa did produce these as an extra option.
Full logic control cassette decks with Dolby Noise Reduction if you need it. Both decks have full auto reverse playback. Deck 1 is for normal playback, Deck 2 is also capable of recording as well as dubbing from Deck 1.
If you still have cassette tapes and a cd collection this would be ideal.
Available for collection only from the Allesley area of Coventry due to the weight. May deliver with in 10 miles of Coventry for free or 20 miles for the cost of my fuel.
