For sale is a Pioneer Stereo Receiver/ amplifier Model SX-636. This is a vintage amplifier in excellent condition and full working order. Please see photos which demonstrate this.
This is a reluctant sale due to space, and I hope this goes to a good home. Those who know about/ are interested in vintage amplifiers will recognise this as an excellent example. Made in Japan with incredibly solid build. The phono stage on this amplifier is excellent, I have used it with a number of turntables and it has clarity. The knobs are a combination of incremental and sliding and milled in what I believe is chrome, again, excellent quality. The tuning knob slides effortlessly and has a signal strength and tuning lamp. A lamp with ‘Stereo’ is also lit up when receiving in stereo and the tuning lamp allows for fine adjustment. I mainly listened to Smooth FM 102.2 on this and it received very well. All lamps are fully working.
