Our new range of studio, super high quality ‘non-B&O amplifier (RCA connections) to BeoLab 4 and BeoLab 4 PC Cable’ products allows you to connect a piece of auxiliary equipment, with volume controlled RCA/phono audio output sockets, directly to your BeoLab 4 / PC loudspeakers that have the dedicated 3.5mm jack socket LINE input connections (i.e. rather than the B&O 8-Pin DIN PowerLink sockets.) These cables allow you to connect your BeoLab 4 /4 PC speakers even if you do not have a Bang & Olufsen Audio and/or Video system. If you have any other model BeoLab speakers, and indeed the more recent B&O BeoLab speakers, with RJ45 ‘line’ input sockets (e.g. BeoLab 17, 18, 19 & 20) we have special cables available for these loudspeakers as a different product. Please contact us if you are not sure which cable type you require. These cables are of an extremely high quality and use some of the very best components found in the audio industry. To include pure oxygen free copper conductors, gold plated RCA plugs, multi-stranded conductor wiring for superior performance, audio signal transfer and interference free and screened for background noise cancellation. Simply connect your auxiliary equipment using the stereo pair RCA phono plug connectors at one end and your BeoLab 4 / 4 PC loudspeakers at the other. In order to establish a connection to your equipment, the little switch on each BeoLab loudspeaker should be set to the ‘line’ position. Only one pair of cables are required to connect two BeoLab speakers (i.e. a left and a right speaker). Some of the various sources that this cable can be used with include: pre-amplifiers, power amplifiers, AV amplifiers and PC sound cards with stereo RCA audio output sockets. We recommend that you turn the volume level down on your audio equipment on initial setup. Note: Please ensure that the equipment that you would like to connect has stereo ‘volume controlled’ RCA/phono audio output sockets, that your B&O BeoLab speakers are set to the ‘line’ position (rather than L or R) and connected to the dedicated LINE input sockets on BeoLab 4 / 4 PC.
