These cables allow you to connect your BeoLab speakers even if you do not have a Bang & Olufsen Audio and/or Video system. These cables are of a very high quality and use some of the very best components found in the audio industry. To include pure oxygen free copper conductors, multi-stranded conductor wiring for superior performance, audio signal transfer and interference free, PowerLink data grounding, background noise cancellation together with audio and voltage referencing conductors. Simply connect your auxiliary equipment using the 3.5 mm jack connector plug at one end and your BeoLab 3, 9, 4000(Mk2), 6002 or 8002 at the other. In order to establish a connection to your equipment, the little switch on each BeoLab loudspeaker should be set to the ‘line’ position. Only one of these products is required to connect from the sound source to each of the BeoLab loudspeakers. There are two cables that exit from the 3.5 mm plug to each of the 7-Pin DIN PowerLink connectors. Some of the various sources that this cable can be used with include: MP3 players, iPod, iPad, iPhone, PCs with soundcards and also TVs with a 3.5 mm headphones socket. The cable can also be used with other android based mobile phones. We recommend that you turn the volume level down on your audio equipment on initial setup. Note: Please ensure that the equipment that you would like to connect has a 3.5 mm headphones/stereo audio output socket and that your B&O BeoLab speakers are set to the ‘line’ position (rather than L or R.)
